We’re lucky to have chef Shana of Mazie’s International Soul joining us for a cooking demonstration of her delicious, addictive and healthy vegetarian collard greens. She’ll be leading the demo along with our Teen Battle Chefs to bring a taste of the Farm’s collards to the neighborhood. Stop by this Saturday at noon for a free sample and a copy of the recipe!

Post image for Maharlika featured on Grubstreet!

Not only did our cupcake vendor Robicellis get a shout out on Grubstreet yesterday but today featured a post on the very same site by our friend Jenny Miller who wrote about our Filipino food vendor Maharlika!  We’re super excited to  have them join the marketplace - their pop up brunch has been drawing crowds.  On the menu: Ilog breakfasts dishes, mango french toast (don’t sleep on this one, run, don’t walk) and cocktails mixed up by Enzo Lim from Minetta Tavern with recipes like ‘Pacquio’s Punch’ and ‘Bloody Clara’ (fish sauces is added to a classic Bloody Mary, sounds gross but trust us!).  They’ll be putting together a one off dinner at Alias on Clinton Street at the end of the month and are due to continue their pop up status by adding dinners a few times a week at Leon, the same location they run their brunches.
