Still reeling from the numerous tacos and mountains of guacamole we consumed on Cinco De Mayo, we’re thrilled that it doesn’t need to remain a memory. One of our newest vendors, Oaxaca is now serving their delicious, authentic Oaxacan style fare every weekend at the Market.
If you enjoy perfectly crafted, fresh tacos, assembled with obvious love and well thought out fillings, you’re gonna love Oaxaca. While we will no doubt try everything on offer here, for our first taste, we went with the classic Carnitas, filled with braised pork, pickled onions, cilantro, cotija cheese and topped with an avocado lime and chipotle salsa - it’s a happy marriage of savory and sweet. We also had to try the Korean taco, bbq steak enlivened by a wonderful apple mango slaw. These are the kind of tacos that definitely require a second round!
