Cinco de Mayo Lobster Fiesta at Dekalb Market
Hosted by Red Hook Lobster Pound

About the fiesta:
Lobster boils are a centuries-long tradition in the Northeast, and we’re bringing one right to the heart of Brooklyn…with a south of the border twist.

Join us on May 5th when we’ll spice up a traditional Maine style lobster boil with an infusion of Mexican flavors! Celebrate the return of the outdoor dining season, and the 1862 Mexican victory over the French, with a decadent meal in a chic arts and culture market built out of shipping containers. Logical? Not really. Delicious? You bet.

Each plate comes loaded with picante potato salad, Mexican corn, jicama coleslaw, and of course the main attraction: a whole steamed Maine lobster! (Bibs included)

Saturday, May 5 // 3pm – 8pm
Tickets $30 // http://redhooklobsterpoundfiesta.eventzilla.net

Don’t miss this Cinco de Mayo crustacean sensation!

About Red Hook Lobster Pound:
The Red Hook Lobster Pound takes pride in serving up the finest fresh Maine lobster and most succulent, affordable lobster rolls in the city. Top that off with signature dishes like a Lobster BLT and the sinfully rich Lobster Mac ‘n Cheese and you’ve got a seafood menu like no other. Now in its third year, Red Hook Lobster Pound is a well-established figure in the NYC artisanal food scene. From their headquarters in a quaint Maine-style lobster shack in Red Hook, Brooklyn, they spread their lobster love far and wide at pop-up markets (like the Brooklyn Flea, Smorgasburg, Madison Square Eats, and DeKalb Market), weddings, foodie events, and the streets in their gourmet food truck, Big Red.
