July 21, 2012 at Dekalb Market our mission statement will prevail. There are 8 producers waiting anxiously to take the stage and several who are not able to make the list. The atmosphere will be set, the networking will begin and the energy will go through the roof. We are all ready to start the battle.
The art of beat making is an extreme craft that takes skill, musicality and true talent. We understand that there are undiscovered producers who are just as good or better, than the people we hear on the radio today.
Our mission is to put new producers on the map and to present them with networking and placement opportunities. Each year we select 8 producers from all over the tri-state area to compete in front of record executives, artist and celebrity producers. We strive to be known as one of the best and most competitive beat battles in New York City, this is definitely a show that you don’t want to miss!!
Hosted by Queen Envy Mckee and alongside her is a guest panel of judges “T-Rex”, “Music Mystro” and “Mickey Factz” is in the building. There will also be a headlining performances by A Rapper Name Dame.
This is a fundraiser for Audio Palette Education. A.P.E. is self-funded and simply does not have the financial means to provide the valuable necessities to remain operative. We believe it is extremely important to provide other outlets for our youth. Being a part of a creative environment is a positive way to build self-confidence, motivation as well as the skills of creativity, leadership, and education that is needed to achieve goals—today and in the future. As all donations will be accepted.
