Go Folk Yourself is a 2 year old organization that has organized shows throughout Brooklyn. We are excited to host a show with the fun, acoustic recordings of the Poor Remy, graduates of Kenyon College. The Dispensers lives up to the 60′s era of classic surf-rock that gets you to dance and brings a smile to your face. Ruby Rae has a powerful voice with lyrics that demand your attention, with a write-up from the Washington Post about a “honkytonk tunes with lyrics that are darker than your usual singer-songwriter fare”. Closing the night is the upbeat, Simple Minded Predators, lively bluegrass music that will bring you to your feet! So come join us for 4 hours of free music that will delight you all afternoon.
