The parts of your life muddle all too frequently: Work runs into play (happy hour), which blurs into activity (dancing) and rest (zero).

Find a better way to compartmentalize at Dekalb Market. Starting this weekend, a once-barren construction site will be home to 22 year-round indie retailers, vintage shops, and restaurants housed in salvaged shipping containers (with additional weekend vendors in French-style market stalls). To make your life easier, we’ve separated them for you.

Shop: Brooklyn Bodega’s classic vinyl, YakBlak’s retro shades, works by emerging artists curated by Pratt Design Incubator and 3rd Ward.

Eat: Cuzin’s Duzin donuts, Robicelli’s cupcakes, Cheeky’s New Orleans-style sandos, Filipino dishes from Maharlika, Pasticcio’s handmade pasta (enjoy all in a tented picnic area).

Do Good: A farm planted by community organizations will provide ingredients for culinary classes and market vendors.

Play: Brooklyn Brewery’s pop-up beer garden this weekend to celebrate the opening.
